About me
I currently work as an artist, illustrator, and project manager. My work links artistic creation, theory, and education.
I am fascinated by places where people connect; where diversity of ideas, interpretations, and approaches to works of art meet; I love the worlds of art creation, analysis, and study.
The topics that I am interested in are: The active viewer; The work of art as memory trace and memory trigger; the transition from oral to visual language and vice versa; and creativity experiments. These inquiries have been the core of my artistic and educational projects, which have served to foster artistic creativity in children, students, and museum visitors as well as the training of teachers and cultural mediators.
Unlike the relational focus of my art education projects, my visual artwork is focused on my individuality; depicts the sensory and whimsical evocations from the objects, places, and people around me; and it portrays my experiences.
